This is the sixth installment of Family Bits, the definitive guide to obscure and unauthorized Famicom games. In Family Bits VI, the author catalogues a large portion of unauthorized gaming cassettes from the mid to late eighties, released in Taiwan and other parts of the globe for use on Famiclone hardware. This is the first of two books to catalogue and discuss the differences between such unofficial Taiwanese-made games and their Japanese cousins.
 
Family Bits VI also includes a foreward written by Ting Ta Wei, better known in classic gaming circles as Mr T. Growing up in Taiwan, Mr T recollects the atmosphere of gaming back in the late eighties and early nineties.
